Challenge

A busy programme can still be a long way from go-live.

Screens are being built and status meetings continue, but the release keeps moving. GTMI reviews the software, evidence, and open decisions to establish what is blocking delivery and how to move it forward.

The release still needs decisions

The product boundary is still disputed. An integration works in a demonstration but fails under production conditions. Sites ask for different behaviour, while quality is waiting for requirements that match the build. These problems need decisions before another schedule can be useful.

What GTMI would examine first

A sequence for recovery

01

Inspect

Review working software and delivery evidence.

02

Decide

Name the blockers and the people who can resolve them.

03

Reset

Bound the release and sequence the recovery work.

04

Deliver

Review completed work against release criteria.

Find out what can actually ship

We inspect the requirements, architecture, working software, interface contracts, validation evidence, and site assumptions. Conversations with the team explain the context. The software and delivery records show what is blocking the release: the scope, a technical problem, an unresolved decision or a site that is not ready.

Make the recovery work explicit

Each blocker needs an owner, a decision, and a way to verify that it is closed. The plan may reduce the first release, change an interface, rebuild traceability, or reset site entry criteria. Set a revised date once the team has agreed the recovery work and its sequence.

From review to delivery

Carry the reset into delivery

GTMI can provide an independent review or work alongside your programme lead through recovery. Support can cover product scope, technical decisions, validation planning, vendor responsibilities, and release governance. We assess progress against completed deliverables and evidence.

The service pages explain the work you can commission, the outputs and how it fits alongside your team.

How we approach this

Take a closer look at the work

Review the programme recovery work

The service explains the contribution and the decisions its outputs support. Where an example is shown, it uses fictional manufacturing data.

Before we start

Does a recovery review mean starting again?

The review establishes which parts of the current system and delivery model are usable. Recommendations depend on the evidence and can include a smaller first release, targeted technical repairs, or clearer decision ownership.

Can GTMI work alongside our existing vendors?

Yes. Vendor coordination and technical governance can be part of the engagement. The client retains programme decisions, while responsibilities and acceptance criteria are made explicit across the delivery team.

Start with your situation

Put the current release plan on the table

Start with the intended go-live, the latest scope, and the blockers the team keeps discussing. We can help establish the questions a recovery review needs to answer before you commit to another delivery date.
