Challenge

Give operators the right instruction. Capture the record as they work.

Missing entries and manual checks can keep a batch record under review for days after production finishes. GTMI helps you turn paper instructions into guided execution, with the checks and evidence built into the process.

Recognise the problem

The work is finished. The paperwork is still open.

A missing signature, an unclear correction, or a value copied from a machine display can hold up review long after production has moved on. Scanning the record makes it easier to store, but the operator still has to make the same checks and quality still has to reconstruct the work.

What GTMI would examine first

The execution model

01

Prepare

Release the approved recipe and revision.

02

Execute

Guide the task and capture values at source.

03

Review

Route exceptions and signatures to the right people.

04

Record

Produce the controlled record from execution data.

Start with the work on the floor

We follow a representative record from preparation to approval. Operators and process owners show us where the instruction needs judgement, where an exception occurs, and which entries cause repeat questions. That gives the digital workflow a basis in how the process actually runs.

Design the instruction and the evidence together

Approved recipes control the sequence and parameters. The operator workflow presents the task, captures entries and equipment values, and records completion. Signatures, exceptions, audit information, and controlled outputs belong in that design. We define the ERP, quality, and label interfaces alongside it.

From review to delivery

Prove one process before widening the scope

Choose a process that operators, quality, and IT can review together. We define its execution boundary, build the first workflow, and agree the validation approach before recommending a wider rollout. Training, master data, and document control gaps stay visible in the plan.

The service pages explain the work you can commission, the outputs and how it fits alongside your team.

How we approach this

The service explains the contribution and the decisions its outputs support. Where an example is shown, it uses fictional manufacturing data.

Before we start

Do we need to replace every paper record at once?

The first scope can cover one process. Agree which records remain on paper, how the two processes meet, and what must be demonstrated before extending digital execution.

Can we work with the systems already on site?

We review the equipment and enterprise systems you already use. The assessment identifies which can supply data, which remain authoritative, and where a new interface or application is needed.

Start with your situation

Describe the paper process you want to change

Tell us where the paper process causes delays or repeated work. We can discuss the review effort, the systems involved and a sensible first digital scope. A record or work instruction can help later, after we agree how to share it.

Contact GTMI

Tell us briefly what you need help with. We can discuss the details and agree the next step. Supporting documents are optional and can wait until that conversation.
