Review rules, merge checks, static analysis, automated tests, and defined treatment of failed checks.
Make the release process part of the engineering.
GTMI designs and implements CI/CD pipelines, engineering checks, artifact handling, deployment procedures, and support handover for manufacturing software.
For engineering, IT, and quality teams planning delivery controls for an industrial application or platform.

Pipeline checks produce evidence for a release. Production approval remains with the client’s authorised owners.
GTMI can define or implement the release process for a manufacturing application, from repository controls through deployment and support. A work package can cover the pipeline, the records it produces, the approval points around it, and the runbooks used by site teams. Controls are scoped to the system’s risk and operating model, including the additional evidence required by the client for validated delivery.
Review rules, merge checks, static analysis, automated tests, and defined treatment of failed checks.
Versioned packages, test evidence, and traceability between the source change and the deployment.
Environment dependencies, configuration ownership, deployment sequencing, and rollback procedures.
Monitoring expectations, support contacts, runbooks, and ownership of the pipeline after delivery.
Implementation can include review rules, merge gates, static analysis, test execution, artifact publication, versioned release records, and environment-specific deployment steps. The controls can use GitLab CI, SonarQube, Azure DevOps, JFrog or Kubernetes where they fit the environment. Each check has a defined result and owner, so the team knows which failures block a release and who reviews an exception.
Release engineering also covers configuration ownership, environment readiness, sequencing, rollback planning, monitoring expectations, and support contacts. GTMI prepares the deployment procedure and checks it with the people who will operate it. We link evidence and artifacts to the release record so support and change teams can identify what was deployed. The agreed runbook includes site communication and approval requirements. Together with the release record, it helps the authorised owners decide whether prerequisites are met, what remains open and how the previous version would be restored if rollback is required.
Agree the release process and its responsibilities, then decide which pipeline controls and procedures GTMI will implement.
A review and specification of the controls, evidence, and responsibilities needed for an application’s release process.
Configure the agreed checks and pipeline, prepare the runbooks, and hand over their operation to your team.
Describe the release you are preparing and the steps that depend on manual work or unclear decisions. We can review the release process or implement pipeline controls and deployment procedures. Repository access and release records can follow once the work is scoped.
